1. Mass for the Anointing of the Sick
Saturday, February 11th, at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage, Houston, Texas 77056. On Saturday, February 11th, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes, designated as ― World Day of the Sick, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo will celebrate the Anointing Mass of The Sick. All are invited to attend the Mass. The Sacrament of the Sick is reserved for those whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age. If you plan to receive the Sacrament of the Sick during the Mass, please register by calling your parish office. Your name will be sent to the Archdiocese and a place will be reserved for you. The Sacrament of Penance will be available before the February 11th Mass starting at 9:00 AM. For more information, please see the attached flyer. *PARISHES: Please submit all names registered along with their complete information to the Office of Worship no later than February 3rd via fax (713) 741 - 8767 or via email worshipoffice [at] archgh [dot] org
2. Office of Aging Workshop Series
The Office of Aging Ministry and St. Dominic Village are presenting a series of workshops to help older adults and their families with decisions surrounding housing choices, paying for care and end of life issues. The workshop will start at 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at St. Dominic Village 2403 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77021. Please call (713) 741 - 8712 for information and to RSVP your attendance.
